Who - Where - What

  1. Who are we?
  2. Where are we?
  3. What will it cost?
  1. Foxes Netball Club involves more than 120 girls aged between 7 and 60 ( yes, we can still call the older ones girls). Everyone who is a member of the club loves netball; they love the competitiveness of the game! However, the girls also enjoy meeting with friends at the club each week and using the time to help them relax from the stresses of their everyday lives. Therefore, there is something for everyone!
  2. Depending on the time of the year, weather permitting, and times of matches you can find us at the following:

Winter Season ( September - March)

    • Tuesday evenings 7pm - 9pm (see Training page) at the O2 Sports Hall, Solihull College
    • Tuesday evening 5.30pm - 7.00pm Years 6 and 7 / 7.00pm - 8.30pm Years 8, 9 & 10 at Fox Hollies Leisure Centre.
    • Thursday evenings 6.00pm - 8.00pm at Lode Heath School.
    • Saturday morning matches at Stockland Green Leisure Centre for BNL Divisions 4 - 14.
    • Saturday afternoon matches at The Woodcock Centre, Aston University (Home ground for 1st team).

Summer Season ( April - August)

    • Fox Hollies Leisure Centre Tuesdays 8.30 - 9.30pm. All welcome!
    • School Years 4 to 10, as the winter season.
    • Matches are played on various week nights and venues; please check fixture list to ensure that team matches do not clash with training.
  3. Foxes fees and subscriptions are kept low by the Club fundraising efforts, but the following charges apply:
    • Training session: Seniors £3 at The O2, Inters £2.00 at Fox Hollies Leisure Centre and Lode Heath.
    • Matches: £3.
    • AENA membership ( 12 months): Seniors = £29.80, U18's = £19.10. (Applies September 2011 to August 2012)

Alternatively you can set up a Standing Order, for £15 per month for Seniors and £10 per month for U18's, which covers the cost of all training sessions and matches.

The money collected helps us achieve the following:

    • Good training facilities with indoor courts so that netball can be played all year round.
    • Competitive matches with a chance to be promoted and win individual/team prizes in the league.
    • A new professional and practical navy and purple kit which includes:
      • Dress
      • Shorts
      • Under top
      • Rain jacket
      • Hoodie
      • Tracksuit Bottoms
      • Club kit bag with logo
    • The opportunity for further participation in the sport by subsidising individuals on coaching and umpiring courses, when the gained knowledge is put to the good of the club.
